#2) Create LIFESTYLE habits! 🏋️♾️⏳
When creating a plan for your fat loss, think of changes you can add the word “forever” to.
Example: I’m going to workout for an hour every day…if you can’t put the word “forever” at the end of that, it is not likely to be successful and is too much too fast. Humans have a good 3 week push where we will do HARD things for around 3 weeks before we give it up if it’s still too hard. So, MAKE IT EASY! 🧘
Instead, think of a habit you can easily implement now and can see yourself doing it forever. Maybe 3 times a week for 30 mins is more realistic to maintain forever. You can always build on your habit changes, but only after the first one has become habit. AND, consistency is #1 to maintaining that success. So if you can do 30 mins, 3 times a week, your body will start expecting it and making the changes needed to incorporate that into its weekly plan for muscle recovery while sleeping, stamina increase, water usage, hormone balancing, etc.
5 suggested habits to start with:
3-30 min HIIT workouts per week for fat burning and stamina 🏋️
Half your body weight to full body weight in ounces of water every day 💦
Consuming at least body weight in grams of protein per day 🥩🍤
Eating veggies with each meal 🥦🥗
Plan what your eating the day or night before 🗓️
Maybe you pick one of those to start with and add one as it becomes consistent. Each week and each month get ready to see some amazing changes…that last!
Create a Supportive Environment
When making positive changes and habits for yourself, it’s important to have an environment that supports you and your goals.
🫡🫡Positive Relationships: Surround yourself with people who uplift and encourage you. Seek out friends, family members, or colleagues who support your goals, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate your successes. Cultivating positive relationships fosters a sense of belonging and boosts morale.
🗣️🗣️Open Communication: Foster an environment where open and honest communication is valued. Encourage dialogue where individuals feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, concerns, and ideas without fear of judgment. Clear communication helps to resolve conflicts effectively and strengthens trust within the community. First and foremost, get clear and honest with yourself.
🥅🥅Shared Goals and Values: Align yourself with individuals or groups who share similar values and aspirations. Whether it's in your personal or professional life, being surrounded by like-minded individuals who are working towards common goals can provide a sense of camaraderie and mutual support. Collaborating with others who share your vision can also enhance creativity and problem-solving. Seeking out people who have already achieved what you’re looking to achieve will further you along in your goal. Success breeds success!
