Have You Heard Of The Spit Test?
10 Ways to Enhance Your Fat Loss Continued…intermittent fasting???
After around 12 hours of not eating, the body goes into a fat using/fat burning zone. 🔥 The idea with intermittent fasting is to extend the time your body is burning and using up that excess fat. 8 hours of eating during the day and 16 hours of fasting is the typical recommended eating window to maximize the fat burning phase. In addition to fat loss, there are other reasons to try intermittent fasting:
1.🔥 Boosts metabolism and improves insulin sensitivity.
2.⚖️ Improved insulin resistance: Intermittent fasting can help regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity, which is beneficial for people with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes.
3.💪 Increased human growth hormone (HGH) levels: Intermittent fasting has been shown to increase HGH levels, which can help with muscle growth, fat loss, and overall body composition.
4.🔨 Cellular repair and autophagy: During fasting periods, the body initiates cellular repair processes and autophagy, which is the body's way of cleaning out damaged cells and toxins. This can have anti-aging and disease-fighting effects.
5.❤️🔥 Reduced inflammation: Intermittent fasting may help reduce inflammation in the body, which is linked to various chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis.
6.🧠 Improved brain function: Some studies suggest that intermittent fasting may improve brain health and protect against neurodegenerative diseases. It may enhance cognitive function, boost focus, and support the growth of new nerve cells.
7.😌 Simplified eating pattern: Intermittent fasting can simplify your eating pattern by reducing the number of meals you need to plan and prepare. This can make it easier to adhere to a healthy diet.
‼️For women still having a regular menstrual cycle, intermittent fasting is recommended on days 1-10 (day 1 is the first day of your period) and days 15-21. The other days you can take off of intermittent fasting to allow your body the rest it’s looking for.
It's important to note that intermittent fasting may not be suitable for everyone, and it's advisable to consult with a nutrition professional before starting any new eating regimen.
Power Of Positive Thinking
Positive thinking is a transformative force that shapes our perception of the world and influences our actions. It empowers us to see challenges as opportunities, setbacks as temporary, and failures as stepping stones to success. By cultivating optimism, we unlock a reservoir of resilience that helps us navigate life's ups and downs with grace and determination. Positive thinking fosters mental and emotional well-being, strengthens relationships, and fuels personal growth. It's a catalyst for change, driving us towards our goals with unwavering belief in our abilities and the possibilities that lie ahead. In essence, positive thinking is the key to unlocking our fullest potential.
Improved Mental Health: Positive thinking has been linked to improved mental health outcomes, including reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety. By focusing on the good in life and maintaining an optimistic outlook, individuals can cultivate resilience and better cope with stressors.
Enhanced Physical Health: Research suggests that positive thinking can have tangible benefits for physical health. Optimistic individuals tend to engage in healthier behaviors, such as regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and adequate sleep, which contribute to overall well-being and longevity.
Increased Resilience: Positive thinking fosters resilience by helping individuals develop a mindset that sees challenges as opportunities for growth. Instead of viewing setbacks as insurmountable obstacles, optimistic individuals are more likely to bounce back from adversity and persevere in the face of obstacles.
Stronger Relationships: Optimistic individuals tend to have more satisfying relationships, both personal and professional. Their positive outlook can make them more approachable, empathetic, and supportive, leading to deeper connections with others and a more fulfilling social life.
Enhanced Problem-Solving Skills: Positive thinking encourages a solutions-oriented mindset, where individuals focus on finding constructive ways to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. By approaching problems with optimism and creativity, individuals are better equipped to find innovative solutions and navigate complex situations effectively.
