When traveling, what are some health hacks we can do that make a BIG difference??
✈️✈️Seek Out Healthy Options: Many airports and restaurants now offer healthier dining choices amidst the sea of fast-food outlets. Look for restaurants or kiosks that serve fresh salads, wraps, or protein-rich options like grilled beef, chicken or fish. Don't hesitate to ask for modifications such as dressing on the side or swapping fries for a side salad. These little modifications add up in a BIG way.
🍗🍗Prioritize Protein: Protein-rich foods can help keep you feeling full and satisfied during your journey. Look for options like hard-boiled eggs, yogurt cups, turkey or chicken wraps, or hummus with vegetable sticks. These choices provide essential nutrients and can help prevent unhealthy snacking later, make you feel fuller longer and reduce carb cravings!
Extra Extra Tip:
🥤🥤Did you know our bodies can only tolerate the toxins from a single soda, once a week?!?! Any more than 1 and our bodies get overloaded with the toxins and store the extra toxins in our fat cells to prevent shock to our system. When our fat cells store toxins, they are MUCH harder to lose! Talk about stubborn fat! So limit your soda to 1 or less during the week and your waistline will thank you. 🙏 🤯
